AP BSNL Offers Free Incoming in National Roaming w.e.f 15-June-2015

AP BSNL is offering free Incoming calls in National Roaming for all prepaid/postpaid mobile subscribers w.e.f 15-June-2015.

Existing Roaming STV/addons are withdrawn w.e.f 15-06-2015.

Two New Roaming Vouchers STV-5 & STV-67 from AP BSNL

BSNL has introduced two National roaming STVs under 2G & 3G prepaid mobile services in AP telecom circle with effect from 23.07.2013. Both the RTVs offer unlimited incoming voice calls in national roaming.

The above two new national roaming STVs are placed in catogery-I and are applicable while on National Roaming in BSNL & MTNL(Delhi and Mumbai) networks also.

Revised Roaming Tariff from AP BSNL

As per the TRAI guidelines on roaming tariff, AP BSNL revised roaming charges in prepaid and postpaid plans.

Details of revised roaming tariff:

1. Incoming voice call charges in roaming are reduced to 75ps/min in  all prepaid and postpaid plans ( in which current charges are more than 75ps/min).
2. SMS charges are revised to Re.1/SMS while in national roaming in prepaid plans having current rate more than Re.1/SMS.

TRAI New Guidelines on Roaming Tariff from 1st July-13

TRAI has reduced ceilings for calls and SMS tariff in roaming, to be implemented w.e.f 1-07-13 by all operators across the country. TRAI has decided that STVs and combo vouchers which were allowed till now only for home circle  can be permitted for roaming also. TRAI also mandated two types of free national roaming plans to be provided by all operators.

When compared with Nestham roaming tariff, only incoming call rate(Re1/Min) is higher than the, to be revised incoming call rate(75ps/Min). So AP BSNL customers will get benefit only in incoming call rates by 25ps/Min while in roaming from 1st July.
